Derby County won their first and only FA Cup in 1946, beating Charlton Athletic 4-1 after extra-time in the final.
Bert Turner had given Charlton the lead before scoring an own goal which levelled the match. Goals from Peter Doherty and two from Jackie Stamps in extra-time ensured the win for Derby!
