In 2012, the City of Manchester Stadium hosted the greatest ever finish to a Premier League season.
After a rollercoaster of a match against QPR which saw City take the lead, to then see former player Joey Barton sent off, to then go behind, City went into stoppage time 2-1 down. They knew they had to equal Manchester United's result, who were winning at Sunderland, to be crowned champions. Edin Džeko scored an equaliser, and with 93:20 on the clock, Sergio Agüero scored one of the most memorable goals in football history, sparking wild celebrations and winning City their first Premier League title on goal difference from their Manchester rivals!
