Wrexham caused one of the biggest ever FA Cup upsets by beating Arsenal 2-1 in the 1991/92 FA Cup third round. Alan Smith gave Arsenal the lead, however two late goals from Mickey Thomas and Steve Watkin won the match for Wrexham.

To emphasise how big of an upset this was, Arsenal were the reigning First Division champions and Wrexham had just finished bottom of the Football League!
